In this workshop, we will learn about polymers and their incredible properties. We will discuss some of the amazing applications of polymeric materials, from high-tech gadgetry to high-performance sports equipment, and from environmental sensors to cutting-edge medical technology. We’ll also explore issues of polymers and sustainability. Through hands-on inquiry experiences, we will explore a number of fun, safe and engaging ways in which you can incorporate polymers into your K–12 STEM classroom. (Please don’t wear your fanciest clothes, because we may get a little messy!)
