A group of 5th grade girls, under the direction of Keturah Monroe has created working flashlights with LED bulbs, battery packs and recycled bottles. The girls connected all of the wires, covered the connections with electrical tape, and created a switch with paper clips on the outside of the housing.
The girls then decorated their flashlights with pipe cleaners and paper.
