More extensive iSTEM Primer with additional breakout sessions, an active design experience, and analysis of existing resources
STEM education reform and its implications extend far beyond the individual constituent disciplines inherent in the acronym. With the adaptation of the Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards, and publications of books and articles from countless individuals and institutions, navigating and visualizing the classroom application of reform can be a struggle for even the most established and dedicated education professional. This professional development package includes a presentation of the iSTEM Primer, but builds off of this with additional presentations and breakout sessions centered on standards based implications pertaining to instruction, assessment, and differentiation in light of modern standards reform. The information presented is reinforced through a culminating sample lesson or full scale integrative design experience selected to meet the grade level requirements and/or time constraints of the client
